This essay addresses the complex issue of free will, exploring its existence, its relationship to human intelligence, the manipulation of knowledge, and external domination over the masses. Misuse. Through a critical analysis, it seeks to understand how intellectual laziness and the outsourcing of thought weaken individual autonomy, yielding space to external influences — whether governmental, media, or digital. The text examines the influence of the State, the manipulation of the masses through the media, and the dynamics of power, arguing that although free will exists, its effectiveness is often limited by the lack of original critical thinking. The objective is to present a reflection on how the development of intelligence and the conscious effort to question the status quo are fundamental to the true freedom of decision and action of the human being.
