External Reference Relationships

This NIP extends NIP-73 “External References” by specifying an optional rel string value for i tags, allowing events to specify a ‘relationship’ for each reference.

Optional rel string

ANY “external reference” i tag MAY have a rel string added as the third argument (or second argument for “Webpage” tags) to suggest a relationship between the current event and the external content. This may be any string in URL slug syntax.
