Easy way to get started with Braiins Hashpower using your own node (BIP110 + Datum):

• Install a BIP110 supporting Bitcoin client
• Install Datum Gateway
• Wait for your node to fully sync

• Test local mining

  • Connect to Datum Stratum port
  • Use Bitaxe if you have one

• Confirm local mining works before continuing

• Expose Stratum port

  • ISP may block this (CGNAT, mobile data, changing networks, etc.)
  • Easiest option: use Localtonet
  • Simple setup, very low cost

• Localtonet setup

  • Gives you a localtonet.com subdomain

  • Optional custom domain:

    • CNAME to Localtonet subdomain
    • If using Cloudflare: disable proxy mode
    • (Stratum is not HTTP, Localtonet already handles proxying)

• Test public endpoint

  • Point miner to public address instead of 192.x.x.x:23334
  • Confirm it mines through the tunnel

• Connect Braiins Hashpower

  • Point hashrate to your endpoint
  • Example: stratum+tcp://mine.yourdomain.com:23334

• Set up payouts on Ocean

  • Supports BOLT12 Lightning payouts
  • You need a BOLT12 address
  • Easiest option: Coinos web app (quick setup)
  • Or run your own Lightning node (more advanced)
